FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: "Dancing Under the Stars" Saturday, June 3, 7:30 PM Centennial Terrace, 5773 Centennial Rd., Sylvania OH 43560 (419) 882-1500, Box Office (419) 885-7247 Dance and romance to the sophisticated and elegant Big Band Sounds of "SWINGMANIA" aka "The Jeff McDonald Orchestra" playing The Great American Standards of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, and many others, all dressed up in the sparkling and vibrant arrangements of legendary George "The Fox" Williams, who played such an important role in the fantastic success of the Ray Anthony, Gene Krupa, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James and Benny Goodman Orchestras. Ballroom dancers love Jeff's extensive musical library of Latin American favorites, waltzes, jump swing, fox trots, jive, and romantic ballads all played by the areas finest musicians. Toledo favorite Dan Welch sings all The SINATRA and Bobby Darin hit vocals. The band regularly plays for The University of Michigan Ballroom Dancing Club in Ann Arbor as well as the Tiffin Cotillion Dance Club at Meadowbrook Ballroom in Bascom. They also appear at The Toledo Museum of Art "It's Friday" events, and perform at many area private parties and wedding receptions.
